Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The rooms were huge with a four poster bed, beautiful old furniture pieces, and a small private courtyard, though there were a few bugs at night. The mix of modern comforts with traditional designs made the rooms very comfortable.
I found the hotel to be in a perfect location with easy access to the Christmas markets and shops, making it a great starting point for exploring. The rooms, while looking different from the pictures, were clean and well appointed with a large comfortable bed. The service was a bit of a mixed bag, with incredibly helpful and highly professional staff but also with an incredibly inflexible and abrupt assistant manager. The dining experience was fantastic with a variety of delicious options included in the price of our stay. However, the facilities were a bit lacking with a very small swimming pool and limited relaxation spaces.
I loved the hotel's cozy location near the main river and the Bell Tower, which made exploring the city convenient. The rooms were comfortable and clean, although the steep stairs were a bit challenging. The service was warm and welcoming overall, especially from Geordie. The dining experience was delightful, with lovely treats like macarons and chocolates. The hotel's boutique style and stylish features provided a tranquil retreat in a bustling city.
